A tote bag for a one-of-a-kind publishing house

The bag carries words by Gerard Reve as part of a design for kolonna publications. The text moves from a literary setting onto an object that can be worn and carried through everyday space. Production became part of the story: it took time to find a printer willing to take the work on. The resulting shopper brings the quotation into use, with typography carrying the statement across its surface. The work connects publishing with an object whose message travels with its owner
