Generative poster series

This composition uses a fine mesh of repeated marks to describe a surface that appears to rise and fall. The density of the drawing changes across the image, moving between a delicate grid and areas that almost merge into white. Engineering-drawing references give the work its precise visual vocabulary. The result is an image in which a flat system of marks suggests an ever changing form. The fine surface texture and broad spatial sweep give the image its particular scale, between a technical drawing and a seemingly fluid form
