A pilot literary publication with a cover designed to come off and become a wall poster

The proposal treats a literary publication as something the reader can keep in more than one form. Its cover is designed to detach and be displayed on a wall as a poster. The pilot material presents Pushkin’s Belkin Tales through typography, patterned imagery and a separate printed insert. Reading and collecting therefore meet in the object’s construction: the cover can leave the book while continuing to carry its visual identity. The result is a proposed publication format with a second use built into its exterior
