An edition keeping image and argument in direct contact

This publication brings Deleuze’s writing together with paintings by Francis Bacon. Images sit beside the text, with the margins becoming part of the relationship between looking and reading. The reader encounters the visual material alongside the argument, allowing attention to move between them within a spread. The design gives the writing and paintings a shared physical setting. Its editorial proposition lies in that proximity: the artwork's context remains present while the reader works through the text
