Poster borrowing the forms of film reels and loose bobbins

The poster announces an Italian film retrospective through imagery drawn from the physical material of cinema. Lettering bends around loops and folded strips, with red, green and black areas carrying the composition across the page. Titles and event details become part of the same winding structure. The design brings the announcement and the film-reel reference together, using the text itself to suggest a tangle of cinematic material. The result is a poster whose subject is carried through the shape of its typography
